I'm in need of a good vet recommendation. Thanks in advance!
Randi G. replied:
Plum Creek Vet - either Dr. Dave or Dr. Erika. All the vets at Plum Creek are great - Dave has been taking care of my dogs & cats since moving here in 2000. One of the vets from VCA left VCA and moved to Plum Creek. She is good as well - don't want to saw who it is because I'm not sure it's public knowledge yet.http://plumcreekveterinaryservices.com/

What breed of dog? Vetranarian: We love Cherished Companions by Taco Bell. They are honest, sincere and know our two dogs by name and demeanor. Work with us continually...even over the phone.:) Best groomer...Mini Paws Spa on Wilcox. Our puppy is a difficult breed to groom... A Labradoodle. The dogs (if friendly) are allowed off leash and roaming between treatments. They personalize the experience for each dog and help our puppies ease into the experience of grooming so they are not frightened. Not only do they do a great job with the cut, but your dog doesn't have any negative experiences. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I cannot say enough about Blue Spruce Animal Clinic in Castle Rock. I just recently had to help one of my fur babies pass on and the doctors and staff actually wrote, by hand, a sympathy card in which they recounted their memories of my little guy. If you truly want someone who gets to know you and your animals, Blue Spruce is it.

Veroniqua T. replied:
Animal Care Center in Plum Creek, 562 E Castle Pines Pkwy, CR 80108 in the Safeway shopping center right off the highway. Ask for Dr Brooke (lady vet) I have known her from her intern days (8+ yrs) with Dr Kribley at Castle Rock Vet Hospital. She goes over the cost with you, telling you the cost and whether a test is "needed" or just "helpful" to confirm or make a diagnoses. She was helpful on where we could get prescriptions for the best price. We took our cats from living in town to living in the country and talked about them becoming inside/outside cats. Usually a vet tells you not to do this but she encouraged it as long as we watched their behavior and keep vaccinations up to date. What a surprise. She sat on the floor with me when I put my dog to sleep and held my hand while I cried. There was never a rush to leave. I find the cost to be fair because they communicate prices clearly. I have gone to vets with VCA and told the cost is between $ and $$. The bill always ends up being the highest fee; not so here. I highly recommend, can you tell?

BroadSide , Hampden and I-25 Cheapest Vet, Great people,303-755-1424' 50 percent cheaper then Douglas County.
EMERGENCY: Can anyone quickly recommend a GARAGE DOOR repair service. The spring on our garage door broke and my husband's car is stuck inside. He is a disabled vet...
Kandc L. replied:
OK. I have good news and hopefully this will help someone else that finds themselves in this situation (because I could not find anything regarding garage door repair in this group via search). There is a garage repair place located at 62 Founders Pkwy, Castle Rock, CO 80104 called 1 Clear Choice 303.622.3869. My husband (in my vehicle) drove there and they are coming out immediately to fix the springs that broke on our door, plus a few other things including a year's warranty - all for around $150. http://www.oneclearchoicegaragedoors.com/?utm_source=Google-Places-Castle+Rock&utm_medium=Google-Places-Castle+Rock&utm_campaign=Google-Places-Castle+Rock
