for the life of Pete, I've been in Hayward for 25 years and I don't know a good take out for Chinese. I know there was a restaurant on Tennyson, and one on foothill......

Next time try Chinese Garden (on A St next to tire place by Luckys) - they have some amazing honey walnut chicken and fried wonton with pork. Plus they deliver . Also Tin Fu (Harder Road in the shopping center on the bend) - the scrambled eggs & shrimp and egg foo young is good. My mom loved their won ton soup. Plus they deliver.
The Zizzling Rice soup was well worth it. Deliciousssss

Buon Appitito is the name, not Buon Gusto, on 917 A St is very good! Really good Italian food! Bar drinks are only $6-7 and are very good too!

Hi Janet Klein hi Kimberly Camasho Baldovino, Im trying for "take out" tonight, Superway Chinese sounds tempting... I know I ordered before near Cecil's Burgers... I forgot the name.... and it was OK. Superway I will look up and order upfront
I'll be spending a week on the Big Island... do you have a favorite spot, restaurant, beach, etc you'd recommend?
Marylynne N. replied:
In Kona stop at Lava Java and have one of their amazing homemade scones, muffins or cinnamon rolls, you will not regret it. There is also a restaurant called Jackie Rey's on the Kuakini Highway that makes everything with fresh ingredients, also in Kona. Have fun!

Btw, where will you be staying? The beach at Mauna Kea is the only natural white sand beach on the island, and it's gorgeous. The beach at Mauna Lani is wonderful because a bunch of sea turtles live on the reef right off the Mauna Lani beach. You can encounter the sea turtles when you snorkel. Puako is a gorgeous residential area with a fabulous reef close off shore.
Kelly E. replied:
Yes! Bamboo Restaurant in Hawi, northern part of Kohala Coast. Small town filled with locals. Cute shops in Hawi, too. Go on a sunset sail on the Winona with Mauna Lani Sea Adventures. Steve, Francis and all the people there are awesome. ...See More
Can anyone recommend a good restaurant? My anniversary is tues. We are looking for a new place to try. Thanks

Pinole Creek Cafe - Small low key spot with intimate atmosphere and amazing food. I know the name doesn't sound fancy but trust its official.
