Candy Cane is our 'go to' place! Many of the less expensive deals charge for the shuttles, parking, and breakfast. Candy Cane charges for none of these things. They also have discounts for annual pass holders and AAA.

For 3 of us at the same budget but June we booked bay lake tower by renting dvc points through dvcrentals. We got the deluxe dining as well. We would have paid the same amount to stay at Port Orleans Riverside (which we loved last trip) but now are 5 b minutes walking from magic kingdom and on the monorail.
Julie B. replied:
Absolutely try renting DVC points. You'll be able to rent a suite in a deluxe resort probably for very close to what you paid for the suite at AoA. Websites like dvcrequest.com have cost calculators and information so you can check it out
Alexis I. replied:
Port Orleans is awesome. I love both Riverside and French Quarter. Stayed in the royal rooms two years ago they were amazing! Stayed at French quarter this past December and I loved it.. I like that it was so small everything was so short a walk and I love the boats to Downtown Disney
Kerrie P. replied:
sites like dvc-rental.com can really help out with renting points. Know people who have done it. We own DVC and have rented out points through them as well

I like Gulf Beaches better than Atlantic beaches because the water is usually clearer and the sand is finer. Cocoa Beach is a great beach, but Clearwater is better. Just be careful of where you stay in Clearwater, some of the beaches are blocked by boats and marinas. If you can go to #AnnaMariaIsland check out the pictures it's beautiful and it is just off the coast of Tampa. Well worth the extra 30 minutes it would take to go to cocoa beach
