Need recommendations for the best dermatologist. Personal experience only. My daughter has bumps popping up all over her hand and rashes on her face and legs. It stings...
Dawna S. replied:
Went to Dr. Boomer for the first time and that will be the last. NO bedside manner what so ever. During the exam she ripped my paper gown off instead of moving it like I am use to which made me feel very uncomfortable! Questions were answered harshly and with a you are stupid attitude. Again only went once but that was my experience. Would hate for my daughter to be treated that way.
Melanie R. replied:
Dr Ho with about skin@Sky ridge. Very happy with him. My son had warts and he did great with him. Hubby and I see him regularly for skin checks, and I see him for very nasty eczema. I recommend him highly.
Bridget W. replied:
Amber Long she has an office at the hospital here. She's great!
Dawna S. replied:
Yes Pamela DeTorio Platte
John W. replied:
There is a new nationally awarded dermatologist in the Alexander building at Castle arock Adventist. The practice is called Asarch Dermatology. Im supper happy with them
Dr.Contreras at about skin dermatology in Lone Tree. His office is attached to Sky Ridge. He's amazing!
Kate H. replied:
Don't go to Brommer. She is horrible. Dr. Capin's practice is amazing.
Freddie C. replied:
I know it's a drive to Rose downtown... but I make the trip to see Dr. Karen Johnson. She's a skin cancer specialist, but can handle any type. Her office staff is second to none, Disney-land style service. (303) 388-8807
Jennifer B. replied:
I have had the same problems with Dr. Broomer, for both myself and my kids. We switched to either Dr. Ho or Dr. Stoller at About Skin Dermatology in Lone Tree and have been very happy. I don't know about quick appointments though.
Sarah H. replied:
Dr Meg Lemon-Belleview office. I have been going to her for over 2 years now. For allergic skin response, not reacting to benedryl to acne to mole checks. I have a family history of melanoma and their office specializes in it. The staff is good, she is great!
Jenny C. replied:
Second the comments about Dr. Broomer. The front desk lady is rude, the medical assistant has zero bedside manner and Dr. Brumer is not much better. She has little patience for questions.
Delia M. replied:
Agree with the comments about Dr. Broomer. We see Dr. Swanson in Centennial. She's with Advanced Dermatology. Explains and is happy to answer questions. She's a pediatric dermatologist.
Solana P. replied:
Dr. Boomer but she does get straight to the point and is very aggressive with her decisions on what to do for whatever problem you have. Can be a little scary at times but it works.
Who has a recommendation for a dermatologist in the Centennial/Greenwood Village area?
Beth H. replied:
Dr.Meg Lemmon w/Sorkin derm 3 850-9715
Ken M. replied:
Dr Leslie Capin. The Best
Mari M. replied:
Yes Leslie Capin is wonderful but you can never get in. Marti Mellman Friednash is at Belleview and Quebec....Sorkin Dermatology
Lisa P. replied:
Leslie Stewart
Lauren K. replied:
I've heard good things about Leslie Stewart. I see Dr Bradley Draper in HRanch. I met him when after 5 yrs of having basal cells, Dr Capin finally noticed. Her quick in and out missed it for several visits. Dr Draper is a Mohs surgeon. He took care of me. Once he left Capin's office, I followed.
