I have heard great things about Dr. Rose((217) 352-7337) in Champaign.

I don't know about sedation but my son (nearly 13) has seen Dr. Rose for years and he is awesome.
They do sedation at Dr. Hemann/Dr. Cheng's office in Urbana.
Judy H. replied:
I took my ASD son to Dr. Rose~ once. [Speaks for itself.] I recommend Dr. Chifan Cheng in Urbana, 337-6000 if you wish a Pedodontist. I would also recommend the Parkland College Dental Hygiene Clinic [which would be a fee of $10 or NO charge IF he receives Medicaid.] The students are supervised with Registered Dental Hygienists and a clinical DDS. They are thorough, and would probably work in pairs for the extra attention that may be needed [and to share in the educational experience.] Their patience and diligence may provide for his not needing sedation. They are certified to provide Nitrous oxide, if a patient is determined to need it. The Clinic would communicate with physician, as needed also. Please call 351-2221 for an appt. [The Clinic does not provide restorative care or extractions. ] You also may wish to contact Smile Healthy at Francis Nelson Health services. My son was terrified of the dentist when he was younger and he had work done under sedation at Dr. Hemann's office and it was a great experience...for him and for me!

We just went to Dr Rose for the first time yesterday and it went smoothly. We don't meed sedation for routine procedures but we have needed it for more involved things. I am curious what was the problem with his office from the previous post?
