Stephanie F. replied:
McLean County Pediatrics! http://www.bloomingtonpediatrics.com/ I have seen almost all the docs there over the years, we love love love Jo's main doc, dr. knoll but if your looking for a male, Dr. Emm is wonderful!
Laura B. replied:
I love mine its Dr. Trainer he is at OSF across from Meijer. I can always get in same day if the kids are sick.
Megan B. replied:
Dr. Bandy at Bloomington Pediatrics.
Amber P. replied:
We use Dr. Rosa (she's female, but Dr. Trainer is in the same office and he has seen the boys) - love her! We also like the Nurse Practitioner in their office - Kristy Braun.
Terri Q. replied:
My kids loved Dr. Rosa!
Jill N. replied:
My girls have always gone to Bloomington Pediatrics, the same place Stephanie recommended. We see Dr Toohill, but most of the male Dr's are good. Dr. Weaver is by far the best of the men, Zimmerman, Bandy and Ulbrich are good too. I would put Dr Boe and Dr Emm on the bottom of the list, that's just my opinion from our years at the practice.:)
Sarah B. replied:
We love Adam Ebreo at Sugar Creek Advocate. He has offices at both Bromen and the med building on East Empire. His staff is great, appt are usually easy to get and we really like him.
Emily J. replied:
We just interviewed lots for the baby and chose Dr. Rosa too
Annette V. replied:
Andrew has gone to Dr. Barry Weaver at Bloomington Pediatrics since he was born. Absolutely LOVE him!

I too am looking for an optometrist, however I can definitely recommend an awesome dentist. Hit up Houska Dental, they are best dentists I've ever had are really nice, use new tech, etc. If anyone needs a dentist, that pick is easy. Anyone have a good optometrist that's isn't Walmart
FenBlacach replied:
Do not use Aspen Dental. They were beyond useless.

I go to [Eyecare Associates](http://www.ea2020.com/)- specifically Dr. Couillard. He's a bit of an odd duck but my experience was good and I have friends who have gone there for years. His office is right off Washington by State Farm corporate.
I just switched dentists from Redbird (didn't like their front of house staff and I'm still not convinced they didn't bill me incorrectly) to [Prairie Dental Associates](http://www.prairiedentalassociates.com/) out by the east side BWW. Dr. Sikora was super nice and my hygienist Deb was really lovely.
I go to Dr. Osborne as my family doctor- I really only see him if something is wrong besides what I go to my gyno for, and for my yearly physicals for insurance premium discounts. I like him- he tends to go towards lifestyle changes before jumping to more drastic measures and I appreciate that. I have seen reviews online that they thought he was too hands-off and didn't like him though, so depending on what you're looking for in a primary care doctor, ymmv.
If you're a woman, I can't recommend Dr. Ogunleye at [Advanced Women's Healthcare](http://www.awhcare.com/) on Oakland enough. He is amazing, and the APN/WHNP Brittany King is AMAZING, and I have had nothing but great, attentive care from them- plus as a childfree woman I can definitely say they respect that and my choices.

I like Dr. Devore at All about eyes, straight forward and easy office to work with. It's by potbelly on Washington at veterans. I've been happy with Bloomington Smile Center on GE rd. No pressure to add on extra dental services that other offices do to up sell you! If you're a woman, Dr. Jennifer Dameron is a great gynecologist.

for Dentist: Dr. Allison Beehner of [Gentle Family Dentistry](http://bndentist.com/) is delightful and does great work. for Optometrist: I've used Gailey Eye Clinic a few times. i'm happy enough with them.
Does anyone in the Blm/Normal area have a family physician (OSF) that they really like? I'm in need of a good dr for the family.

Dr. Liu at OSF is pretty good...plus he looks like "Long Duk Dong" from the movie Sixteen Candles!! He is a pretty good doctor, I'd recommend.
Heather F. replied:
Dr Peter abadeer. He is awesome!!!
Jalee P. replied:
Dr Stephen Hill in with Dr Pilcher on Heartland Dr. Fairly young, but actually listens, wants to understand completely, doesn't make you feel rushed, very empathetic. I just switched to him and he has been fantastic so far. I think I am really going to like him.
Taylor H. replied:
I go to Dr Kenney
Brandon F. replied:
I have seen Dr. Lui multiple times, he's at the same practice as my primary. Dr. Carrington is mine. They are both at the osf building on fort Jesse. Both are great physicians. I'm trying to get Colleen in with them, too!
Paul F. replied:
Yep Dr. Liu been our doc for 6 years real good doctor
Melissa S. replied:
I don't think Dr. Liu is taking new pt and i know Dr. Carrington isn't. Dr. Duncan is pretty good but he is very busy! Dr. Kenny and Dr. Jani are suppose to be good too. If u want a female there is one here but she is very busy and there are two more starting. I didn't like the female Drs. At dort Jesse. However Jessica Blanchard is a awesome np.
Kim R. replied:
Dr. Marley is great! Very thorough and complete. Good bedside manner; takes time and explains everything. College Ave,

Jenny S. replied:

Melissa S. replied:
I really wanted to go to Dr. Carrington but to Dr. Nasser or something like that. I never see him. And December isn't too bad. We have one that is in late May early June lol If u didn't want to wait that long u could come see Dt. Galue ( pronounced Galloway ) he is 6-8 weeks. Ask Julie if she likes him
Does anyone have a good general practitioner doctor suggestion? The hubs and I are in search of a good doctor :)
Stephen F. replied:
Dr James beam He's not the best but he is cheap
Dawn S. replied:
Dr. Panopio is very good. She is my friend's doctor. If she is not taking patients Dr. Lilla Berck is also awesome. She is my doctor.

Brian R. replied:
Dr William Neil has done a few marathons and is now doing half marathons. He has been supportive during my pre Ironman physicals, although he may be getting close to retirement.
Jill O. replied:
We both see Dr Anu Kantamneni thru OSF. She is in adult medicine. She is very supportive of running/tris, very good with referrals to specialists (ie due to injury), and just a very nice person.
Ted O. replied:
I also have Dr Neil, good guy and he "gets it". He still cycles on occasion.

Terry B. replied:
I didn't see your original post. We live in Bloomington. If you need a local ENT, I hightly recommend Dr. Finn Amble. He is wonderful!!! If she saw him, I'd trust his recommendation. If you didn't and need a second option, he will provide honest and conservative feedback.
