Okay this is a serious 3 questions, 2 about cats, one about pedicures.
1. Is it normal for a cat to purr NON STOP? I mean he is either the happiest cat in the world,...

2) Corcoran vet 3) Q Nails. I do like Style nails if I need to be closer to home.
Brittany L. replied:
MNSNAP is wonderful! They do discount spay/neuters and vaccinations/microchipping. I've used them before and they're wonderful and extremely affordable if you meet their guidelines. They have a calendar of dates on their website of when they do specific procedures. http://mnsnap.org/

Here is where we got our cat spayed. There is income requirements though. Not sure what they are at the time. It was Emily's cat that she brought home so we used her income, so it worked for us and they actually didn't even look at her tax return when I brought the cat in. It was cheap. Like $50 if I remember right. http://mnsnap.org/
Keara S. replied:
Elm Creek Animal Hospital, not extremely cheap, but they do an awesome job and the vets are really caring!
Carissa D. replied:
The Kindest Cut has a mobile vet that goes to different humane societies. I took my cat in a few years ago to the Coon Rapids one on main street. I dropped her off Monday morning and picked her up that evening. At the time I had food stamps and MA so her spay was only $40 and I believe it was additional $15 or $20 to get her up to date with shots. I just needed my own pet carrier and any proof of county assistance. Even if you dont have any, they may be the cheaper route.
Shelley B. replied:
One of my boy cats purrs non stop! At the vet, they need to bring him in the back to listen to his heart because he never stops purring! Nails Touch in B.P. off on 610 & Zane. Love it there!

I always went to Style Nails, but last time I was running close to closing time and called Champlin Nails, they told me to come in, even though I would be there later than the closing time. I was treated so nice, and the lady I had spent a lot of time on me, very nice place!

I also go to Aqua nails in Maple Grove... They are good and I've been going there for years... But my friend just told me to check out Q nails in Andover. It's not far down the road from Walmart at Riverdale. They even have a restaurant and drinks if you drink while you have services done. I haven't checked them out yet but the reviews are good and that website (I can't think of it right now) that tells you which salons are up to date with inspections and are clean and everything....they are in good standing. I am going tomorrow to try them out. My friend has been going there for a long time and loves it and her nails always look so amazing. They hand paint beautiful things on your nails if you want and it looks so good. They can do so many other designs and looks.
Has anyone been to the nail place in the Hudy's strip mall, I think Champlin Nails? I always go to Hawaii Nails in Anoka or Coon Rapids because the quality is excellent...

I prefer Style Nails which is right by Cub there as well over Champlin Nails.

Jenny K. replied:
Style Nails is by Cub in Champlin and Nails Touch is off 610 and Zane - same ownership. After some collective bad experiences at both places, my pedi friends are looking for a new "home."

Jennifer G. replied:
How are their prices? I typically go to Style Nails for pedicure, but they charged me an arm and a leg for doing my kids on Mother's Day, so I'm looking around for something more reasonable.
I see lots of complaints on here about local businesses so I thought I'd go the opposite route and share my experience of a job well done - I got my nails done 2 weeks...
