I have always used Preppy Pets in Tempe. They have like a nanny-cam monitoring type system. Duke, who doesnt do well at all when I am not around (refuses to eat; drink; gets really ill, even with house sitters in my home) loves it there. The first time I boarded D'Ogee when I had to fly out to Michigan for an emergency, they took him to MY vet and got him his kennel cough vac b/c I didn't have time. B/c Duke has separation anxiety, they put them both in an xl kennel. I was always very happy; but most importantly, THEY were happy. The owner told me that Duke is a "thinker" and preferred to be around people than other dogs, so he would let Duke lay in the office while he was on the computer. I think they a re wonderful!

I can not recommend Canine Country Club. We pulled all our dogs out there 2 years ago. I would never put a dog there. Not even if it were free.

OK... my furkids will be in safe and loving hands... they are going to stay with Aunt Anna Di Stefano Rittenhouse and now I can breathe again. She is taking 3 of the 5... Mr. Big and Mojo will stay home. I think two will be ok (vs. an overwhelming 5... our poor friends would have arrived and left on the same day). Mikey will get some playtime with other dogs who actually want to PLAY. And I don't have to worry. Life is Good.

This video is my 2 nd of this sweet girl from 4-5-15. Coco A3574546 is goofy, active enough for hiking but sweet enough for cuddles and couch potato time! You can see she doesn't have much of a cold but just can't fully beat it at the shelter with all the stress. She needs a foster or forever home ASAP as she is now at risk due to her cold.
