Can anyone recommend a good primary care physician here on the peninsula? I've been looking for a new one and would love to hear who my neighbors are going to and if...
Dr Egleston just off the bridge off of Folly Rd, I've been going to him my whole life, super nice guy. The nurse practitioner he works with (Vicki) is amazing too, I actually prefer seeing her because she usually has longer consultations with her patients.
David A. replied:
Dr Datta and Dr Gass are wonderful http://www.eastcooperinternalmed.com/ourteam.aspx
Ted K. replied:
Very few PCPs on the peninsula. The ones who are, are with MUSC. Some good practitioners on Bee Street and with University Internal Medicine.
Charles R. replied:
I do *not* recommend Dr. McNulty at Peninsula Primary Care. I have started calling him Dr. McWorthless because he is exactly that.
Caroline T. replied:
Dr. Cheryl Lynch at MUSC is awesome. You can do a doctor search for internal medicine/primary care: http://www.muschealth.org/providerdirectory/providers.aspx . I think they have doctor profiles too so you can see where they went to school and did their training.

Curtis Haskins MD at Windermere Family Practice was my GP for almost 15 years when I was still living in Charleston. Excellent bedside manner and a very caring guy. For routine dental care, Wolf Bueschgen at Ashley River Family Dentistry is tops - he looks like the guy in the Bush's Beans commercials! For fancy dental work, John Rink cosmetic dentistry is incredible - but pricy.
