Anchor Pest Control. Karl, the owner, is the most honest guy you're gonna meet in the pest control world. Specializes in termites. Google his company and check out the reviews.

After hearing some sad stories from some friends, I would definitely say go with one of the local companies mentioned by the other commenters. In the case of termites and things of the sort that come with a bond, you kind of want to avoid the bigger national brands. If something goes sideways, they have a team of lawyers and unlimited resources that will fight you the whole way and most likely get out of paying a claim. The medium sized companies are much more likely to give better service and stand by their work for good or bad.

Krista Huff, that would be awesome. Like I said, I'm not really sure what to do. I sent messages to Cotton Branch, Keeper of the Wild, and even Charleston Animal Society and Pet Helpers in case they knew of anyone to contact.

I would recommend Got Bugs. I did get a few quotes and they were the most reasonably priced and provided me with prices based on the square footage of my house upfront. They do quarterly pest control for me. Will does most of the pest control downtown 843-822-4990.

I used a guy named Jim one time, and he was amazing! I had some other guys from Groupon quote me at $800 because my chimney was "caving in," and my boss recommended Jim, a lifelong chimney sweeper, for a second opinion. He said the other guys were scamming me, charged me $10 for a little insert to help direct the smoke up, and it was all good to go. 843-572-2077 ... That was ten years ago, and he was old, so.... I'll look and see if I have the names of the other guys at home.

Ash with Charleston Chimney Sweep checked out our chimney for free and said to call him for annual check ups because we'll most likely need it "serviced" within the next few years.
