Diana if they do another referral to another surgeon ask for Dr. Sampath. He is the one who to my understanding help brought the WVU center there. He left Charleston for a time and went up there to teach then when he come back they came to. He will be preferrly honest with you. He did with Mamaw when she had to make that final decision surgery or not. I think you would be happy with him as far as a surgeon. And as far as cardiologist I like Dr. Iyer he has seen dad and a couple other guys up this way that really like him to.

Dr. Elie Garib is head of cardiology and he is fantastic. Very relatable and easy to talk to. If you can get in go see him. If not Stephen Mccormick is equally intelligent and easy to talk to.

Janice, I've had Dr.nease for almost twenty years. And I agree as a Dr. She is top-notch, first class. But her office staff leaves a lot to be desired. Make a long story short.....I know you've seen on here all the serious problems Fred has. So I got him in with her...she's been since Nov. Trying to send him to a surgeon and all we've got is the run around. . It took three weeks and four phone calls(which you can only leave messages, nobody ever answers the phone) just to get a. Call back. So she sent him to this surgeon who wouldn't touch him, here we go again. I got mad and went in her office just to be told she's not there anymore, she was moving her office, BUT h e r nurse was there and would talk to me. She did, I told her nicely but firmly how disgusted we was about this..she said she would talk to Dr. Nease that evening and call....that's been another three weeks...NO CALL YET....we are so fed up..they know he doesn't have long and it hasn't mattered one bit....So I need an appt for myself and that's why I'm asking

Mom and Dad go to Dr. Scott Miller and Dr. Adkins..He operated on Dad probably 18 yrs ago...Dr. Garib has done both of their stints, too.

Ask Crystal Holstein who she would recommend? Dr Gharib did JR's last procedure and we liked him. I think he is head of cardiology at CAMC Memorial.

I'm with Loretta. Dr. Namely is my moms cardiologist also. Has very good bedside manners and spends a great amount of time with his patients explaining whatever you want to know. His wife also works with him and is as awesome as he is. I highly recommend them.

Isn't Dr haffar a stomach doctor do's colon austomey's and I don't like him at all. Dr Stephen Zekan is the best. For Colon's and for Cardologist try Dr Pettit, office I thank they are great they have been with mom,joyce and Robert

There is a Dr. Haffar in Teays Valley. He was my cardiologist and I didn't care for him. I'm going to see Dr. Groves in July tried to call them and they won't call me back, now I'm not impressed with him.

i love Dr Haffar . he may know someone. he is the very best. but i dont know if she is afraid of men. he is very soft spoken and has many ways to check ur heart that is easy to you. he owns mostly all the equioment needed so u dont have to go to hospitals for test.

My father and I go to Yousaf. My sister goes to Gharib. Dr. Cousins did my sister's open heart surgery. I don't know any pediatric cardiologists. Not sure about that, but Dr. Yousaf is very good, but is very difficult to understand at times. He is kind, though. You could call and ask. The girls are usually helpful.
