Dog Spot in East is great or Belmont Pet Boarding near downtown.

For daycare, we take our pups to Camp Bow Wow. I like that they have cameras and I can check up on them:)
gheegher replied:
We do overnight boarding at Camp Bow Wow but The Dog Spot Charlotte has been fine for daycare. They have a better webcam setup than Camp Bow Wow too.

Have you tried out the Rover app? That's how I found my dog sitter. I used to take him to Camp Bow Wow for day care and overnights, until I found out they don't keep people onsite at night. That made me nervous in case of a fire.
PerkiSystem1796 replied:
Thanks everyone for the recommendations! Camp Bow Wow is a little out of the way for me but I may give it a try. I'll also check out the rover app. Glad to hear that there are some recommendations for the Dog Spot also. My hesitation with the Dog Spot came from a friend who said their vet has seen multiple dogs with injuries come out of there but it doesn't sound like that's the case from your experiences.

get on the waiting list 6-9 months ago. join a church with a good daycare a year and a half ago to get moved to the top of the waitlist. assuming you have a time machine

I just signed up for a daycare today, $1,250/mo for a newborn in ballantyne. They had a dozen on the waiting list, should be ready in December/January they said.

I don't have children and I'm not religious but if I ever did have a child and needed daycare I would look into Pineville Church of the Nazarene. (I was always told church based daycares are the most cost effective and when I was in high school and experimenting with religion this is the one church where my questions were not meant with "you'll burn in hell".) http://www.pnaz.org/outreach/cdc-daycare

The waitlist for infants is crazy almost all across Charlotte! Moved here 2 months back from RTP and even there I had to enroll in a day care during my second trimester and we got a place when my daughter was 5 months old! We were paying $1700 for infant section there, paying $1350 here in Charlotte....
