Davede Varner is amazing- he's in Dilworth but well worth the drive. I believe he gives discounts if you purchase multiple sessions at once. http://www.bodysourcecw.com/

I think Cecil is very good http://centeredmassageandbodywork.com/index.php Straight shooter, no sales pitch, reasonable rates, good massages, flexible scheduling.

Carolina Sports Massage on 7 th Ave in Elizabeth. Mike and Adrienne are true professionals at what they do and there isn't anyone else in town who does true sports massage like these guys do. Someone also mentioned Davede Varner in Dilworth. I highly recommend him if you have a specific limb or ailment that needs focused attention. I would stick Carolina Sports Massage for general sports massage. Go with Davede otherwise.

Do what I did. Start running in your mid 30 s after never exercising in your life. Then when you've done better than you ever thought, start cycling right after you turned 40. Just when you're feeling better than you ever have, do something you didn't realize was stupid, and break your collarbone. Back to lethargy.... I **was** feeling young until that happened.

Is Stonecrest too far? I go to someone who has an office in the office building across the street from Stonecrest shopping plaza. She's great an at least $20 less than Massage Envy.

Also interesting in this. We have athletic trainers for this stuff on campus but they're not always available if other guys need treatment and sometimes it's nice to get treatment from people with different tactics.
Anybody have a referral for a good yoga studio in Charlotte? Namely for Sunday morning.

Yea Y2 has some good classes that morning or charlotte yoga, they offer a lot that day too. A friend of mine teaches a deep stretch class at Moga Charlotte at 5 pm if anyone is interested in that.

I'd recommend Khali Yoga... Check em out! They have a lot of slow flow and meditation classes.
theimbalancedyogi replied:
Khali has a deep stretch class on Sunday evenings. I’m right there with you... it took me a long time to find this balance. I tend to practice on my own for this exact reason but Khali is by far my favorite studio for this vibe. They have mostly vinyasa classes throughout the week and I wish they had more variety but their instructors and approach are far more suited to the spiritual side of the practice than other studios I’ve visited.
Another wonderful option is Yoga for Life on Morehead. Haven’t been in a few years but I used to work with the owner, Karen, and they have a broad range of classes that tend towards the more restorative side and encompass the entire practice rather than just asana.
If you need any personal recommendations for deepening your practice, just let me know!

I still have 6 weeks of rehabbing before I can do anything, but would live to speak with you. Can you call me at 704-906-4075 about the space. Thanks so very much. Namaste, Robin Allen
