Lynne Y. replied:
Dr. Mark Suprock at Orthocarolina Huntersville. My Mom had a partial knee replacement on both her knees with him & he replaced one of her hips. She is in her seventies & gets around better than me. I have been seeing Dr. Suprock for a few years, Cortisone injections for my arthritis in my knees & bursitis in my hips but now I see him more frequently since I'm just becoming bone on bone. He is the best in the business as far as we are concerned. It does take awhile to get an appointment with him until you are an established patient. I know patients who come from Winston & Greensboro to see him. I trust him with my own knees & hips when the time comes. Hopefully, your hubby can put off any surgery for awhile.
Does anyone have a referral for a local greyhound savvy Orthopedist? Have an adopter who is needing to take her greyhound to a specialist.

Ortho Carolina was good for me. They really do want you to go the physical therapy route if they think it will help though.
Recommendation for an orthopedist? One that specializes in knee injuries preferred. Please and thank you.
