Can someone recommend a rheumatologist in the area? Someone who has a lot of experience with lupus would be a plus. Trying to get an appointment is ridiculous!

I actually see Dr. Robert Kipnis for my lupus. He is in Charlotte. I think they only take you on by referral now but it doesn't hurt to try. Hope you get in somewhere quickly! frown emoticon

Thanks; the referral seems to be an issue. It is for my daughter who is a student at UNCC. The heath clinic saw her today but is trying to get her in to a rheumy asap. I will try Dr. Kipnis tomorrow.

Once I get a few names together, I will try to schedule a few appointments and plan a trip. I also got the name of a neurologist in Naples, Dr. Matthew Baker. And Madeline de Stgo, I saw you mentioned Dr Acevedo in a different post...I guess I did forget to add EP to the list, so thank you for sharing...not sure where Ocala is, will have to look at the map!
