He is very honest he will tell you if it's not worth fixing and you should get a new machine. He can arrange for everything or during the washing machine delivering it to your house installing it and take the old one away.

Before you buy a new one call PHIL DOYLE - Doyle appliances. He can fix the belt BUT he will honestly tell you IF you should get a new machine. His number is 978-866-5330

It could be something very minor, like what happen to my 17 year old washer recently. Mine has a small arm that extends from the lid down into the drum of the washer. That little piece of plastic was broken, and thus the washer wouldn't spin. We identified the part number and ordered the new piece online for less than $10, and my husband installed it. (Not saying that you should try to do something like this yourself, but, if it is indeed something so minor, someone like Bill from Action Appliance will tell you so, andhe will order the part and install it. It may be worth saving the machine, because as noted above, the old ones were better made.)

If you can afford it buy a new one. 20 years is a lot of wear and tear on a washing machine. If finances are a concern toss a new belt on. We have found that Bill at Action Appliance (978-256-6111) is a very fair and reputable repair person.

We also use Steve at A1 Maintenance Master.....I was one of his first clients when he first went into business ( back then he was with his BIL) MANY years ago! There isn't ANYTHING he can't fix !
