Paul Battle of: http://thehousedoc.ca/ He doesn't do structural, etc. ALL he does is healthy home related testing - mould, radon, electrro magnetic field. When we bought our studio in the city (it was GROSS when we took possession) we hired a traditional building inspector AND Paul Battle - traditional inspectors know some. Paul specializes only in mold, etc with resources to fix. He checked our home too! Well recommended!

Steve mcdonald - chelsea home inspections 819-827-0898. Condensation is not necessarily caused by faulty windows. Improper ventilation in the house, not enough insulation could also be causes.

Glynis, it's ironic isn't it? Better windows and you still see condensation! But if you think about it: you have sealed your house better and none of that moisture can disappear through leaky seals anymore. The answer is likely a better ventilation system. I would recommend a heat recovery ventilator. It provides fresh air but leaves the heat in the building. We also have electric heat and the HRV doesn't need a forced air heating. I can show you ours if you want. Just drop by on your next walk. I can recommend Paul Battle, too.
