Letitia George (contestant from last year's The Voice) performed at a charity event for me last year. She can perform solo or with her band Funky Town. Either way, she can really sing and gets people up on their feet. She's based in Coventry, not Cheltenham, but I'm sure would travel. Email address is letitiageorge@live.co.uk to make a booking enquiry.

If you would consider staying in Wimbledon, I would recommend an amazing guest house called Good Enough Inns. It's on Good Enough Road which is a 2-3 minute walk from the centre of Wimbledon. Great prices £85-£120 per night depending on the size of room you go for. They have family rooms that can fit 4 people in too and huge shared kitchen. Lovely chap that runs them (he uses 3 houses for it). Not on Booking.com but if you google you'll find it. Superb little find, we use it quite a lot. Cheaper than anywhere else by a country mile.
Jenni B. replied:
Premier Inn at Wembley is £78.50 a room based on 2 sharing on Saturday. Family room might be cheaper. It's not the nearest to central but it's direct and easy to get there.

If you do not want the tube then you will need to have a short walk, as North Greenwich is the stop you want but is the Jubile Line. You can get the DLR and then walk, or if you fancy a real treat the Emirates line is brilliant, little cable cars across the river, and that goes right near the O2. I often stay in the Docklands as well, but if you really do not want the tube then you need to stay close to a DLR line or Cab it.

The Stonehouse Court Hotel are incredibly flexible and the room and facilities are great. My best piece of advice for booking hotel venues is to book on the low side, numbers wise, and then go up when you start selling tickets to your events. This is because you get locked in at whatever rate you agree. So, lowering the numbers works really well as it locks you in at a lower price (lowering the risk) and they are always more than happy to add delegates as it's more money for them.
