Barbara Hollyhead is involved in the language sector, Tina Marie Parker is a business consultant, Robin Waite does mentoring, Carie Lyndene does coaching and https://www.facebook.com/117822361677685 Sales Academy 2012 run by Amanda Dear does it too. That'll keep you busy tomorrow:) Sorry for tagging you guys at midnight! Really depends on what you're looking from them... are you after people to help you get funding, put in processes, train you in sales and marketing... there's so much:)

Evening all, I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who responded to my SOS this morning - I'm definitely not ready to give up just yet! I also just wanted to clarify what I'm looking for in terms of recommendations as I've had lots of DMs! I'm looking for a mentor/ marketing expert specifically within my field. This is because when others have contacted me in my capacity as a dance school owner, I've been able to give them very specific advice (eg. advertise in Londonsalsa.co.uk, flyer outside Bar Salsa on a Monday night) to save them money and time. Hope this makes sense and thanks again x

Hi Sureka. I saw your post here yesterday, at which point no one had commented so I didn't either. However, now that you have had so much good business advice, I'd like to introduce a word of caution. You may well have already considered the following and my apologies if you have, but getting it wrong could see your business disappear very quickly, so I'll mention it. Make sure you have a very, very firm grasp of ALL the Immigration Rules pertaining to English Language Schools - they are tight and the type of establishment you've described would, I think. be high on the list of scrutinised Language School enterprises.Don't misunderstand me- I'm not suggesting you would do anything wrong, but your business could easily be abused by less honest people than yourself and, if it were, you could quickly find yourself closed down. Setting out on the right track isn't a bad thing and being able to show that everything is above board will put you streets ahead of some of the competition in your market place. Just make sure you check it all out and, after you have, stay up to date with any legislative and procedural changes,.Very best of luck.
