Personal trainer at LSAC, Pam Staton, has a boot camp she leads at LSAC. I never could get up early enough to do it, I would have her personally torture me afterwards. Not intense-seeming workouts, but you definitely feel it afterwards. Like a fruity, alcoholic drink.

We love JB! My son will be entering 4 th grade in August too. Maybe they'll be classmates! We're not native to this area either, our son has made friends via sports (tcsa for soccer and BYB for baseball) and more recently Cub Scouts. Both TCSA and BYB group kids in the rec program by school/area, which helps them meet people nearby.

Emily R. replied:
from an article I found online: As I stated above, it is important to be in the sun for a little bit without sunscreen, but if you plan on being outside more than 20-30 minutes, it's important to wear sunscreen. According to Webmd.com, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. is the peak UV radiation time, so try to limit sun exposure during these times. Of course, it's not always possible to avoid the sun during these hours. If you plan on being out in the sun, it is recommended that a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or greater be used, and that it be applied at least 30 minutes before sun exposure. Here are a couple of different sunscreens that I have had good experiences with: Coppertone Kids 70+ SPF Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB Protection. Also, I recommend Coppertone Kids 30 SPF 6 Hour Waterproof Sunblock Stick with UVA/UVB Protection. I love the stick for the face as regular sunblock can run into your eyes when you sweat or get wet and can really sting.
