I'm not a math tutor (tutored Reading for CPS) but in Algebra, you "Must" get the "Order of Operation" in order to solve the equation. Numbers and Integers are the same...Integers=Numbers. She may think theres something she is missing but mathematicia ns like to play with words to make what they do sound harder than what it is for ex again a number line can also be called a integer line. There is something she missed in the beginning chapters when she realizes what it was she will breeze through Algebra

Go to khanacademy.com. It's a free website with tons of videos on math up to calculus. Also teachers test prep has online video tutorials for $45 a bundle.

Too funny Scott... I used to make considerable amount of money doing that... but that was here in St. Louis. Sorry, I'm a little out of touch with anyone in your locale though. You might consider Kumon. They have an excellent reputation.
