Keep in mind that anyone advertising a 5 digit license number just has a simple $26 business license through the city of Chico, which the only qualification is the check doesn't bounce. A 6 digit is an actual contractor. You can cross-reference their contractors license number at www.cslb.ca.gov Good luck in your search.

If you want an additional tree rec, try About Trees. They're honest, cheap (that's always relative, but certainly very reasonable) and artists when it comes to leaving your well trimmed trees looking like they weren't slaughtered in the process. Good people. 343-4533.
