If you want an additional tree rec, try About Trees. They're honest, cheap (that's always relative, but certainly very reasonable) and artists when it comes to leaving your well trimmed trees looking like they weren't slaughtered in the process. Good people. 343-4533.

Chico Electric really ripped me off... weekend. Send a guy from Redding and charged me for his travel time & gas and didn't fix the problem. Didn't warn me about the added expense other than it was the weekend rate which would have been ok if the dude lived in Chico.

I had issues with Barker Electric before. We had a situation with our electric panel box, and he said that he would never have put in a panel like we had and that he had not installed it. When I showed him our receipt he had given us for the work and box, he was still very rude. I will never use his business again.

Glenda Barker it was definitely Tom Barker - white van with Barker Electric. He did a major job for us when we had a bathroom/bedroom remodel. When I called him several years later for a panel issue, he left me in tears. He may have been having a bad day, but he turned my day into a very sad one too. He did take care of the panel repair though.

Yes, Adrienne. I have the best guy on the planet, a retired electrician from the Bay Area who moved to Paradise. He re-wired our house in Chico and did a fantastic job at a low price.
