I just go to www.google.co.nz and type in what I am looking for. The online Yellow Pages are also very helpful for looking up restaurants, trades etc www.yellow.co.nz

New Brighton Health Care in Union st are great (I think so anyway)

I go to Travis Rd medical center. Hav gone to Dr Chima since I was about 8. And now he treats my 3 girls too. Dont often see anyone else there but when I hav they hav all been lovely.

New Brighton health care is where I go and they are all fantastic. I too suffer from mental illness and it has taken me 34 odd years to find a good gp. All the doctors, nurses, social worker etc are amazing. I see Sarah regularly now and will never go elsewhere.

As well as New Brighton Healthcare on Union Street, there is also QEII Medical Centre on the corner of Bower & Rookwood, and Travis Medical Centre on Travis Rd near the QEII grounds. Plenty of great doctoring jobs going in rural hospitals throughout NZ.

The main intake is around the last week of November (2 weeks ago, this year), and rotations change every 13 weeks. The [MCNZ website](https://www.mcnz.org.nz/home/doctors-wanting-to-practise-in-new-zealand/) has the details you need. The [Auckland doctors website](http://www.aucklanddoctors.co.nz/) has recruitment info for the 3 Auckland DHBs. I'd recommend trying to not live in Auckland though, if that's practical for you.

I'm not sure whether it is the same for every specialty, but the rotation for Obs and Gynae is finishing literally tomorrow. They do 26 week rotations, so the other rotation ends about the middle of June. I know a few Irish doctors working here as house officers and registrars - they seem to have found it pretty easy to get a place here.

Both Johnny and I use Narcis Sidges at new Brighton healthcare we love him he is direct and nit afraid to say if he's unsure if something and will even jump on the Internet to research excercises etc. hes also not afraid of alternate medicine when called for. he's great!

Phillipa Ryan at the QEII medical centre is awesome. Pretty cautious and thorough, but that's what you want in a GP

Not local but can totally recommend Christchurch dermatology. Dr Nicholls actually looks at your skin rather than taking photo's and sending them away to a skin specialist.

Koru Clinic, Dr Jeffries, Cashmere end of Columbo. She's great & does the personal skin check & if needed the surgery too.

It was me who suggested Opawa Clinic, he was half the price of the approx 20 others I called or looked at, and he discounted for both hubby and I going at the same time. He also discounted again when we went to pay because apparently we have lots of freckles but hardly any moles

Hey Anna I've been to the Molecheck clinic on Aikmans Rd before. I saw a female dr, but can't remember her name sorry. It's quite pricey but she was very thorough.

Neil Averis, 366 0088 in town. He's fabulous but not always available immediately (cos he's sooooo good). They also have onside Physio, gym, etc so you might be able to also sell supplements to them???

David Mann at Greers rd medical centre is fantastic. Goes the extra mile for his patients all the time.
