New Brighton Health Care in Union st are great (I think so anyway)

I go to Travis Rd medical center. Hav gone to Dr Chima since I was about 8. And now he treats my 3 girls too. Dont often see anyone else there but when I hav they hav all been lovely.

as others have said - New Brighton Health Care! The doctors are all great there (and the nurses!)

New Brighton health care is where I go and they are all fantastic. I too suffer from mental illness and it has taken me 34 odd years to find a good gp. All the doctors, nurses, social worker etc are amazing. I see Sarah regularly now and will never go elsewhere.

Both Johnny and I use Narcis Sidges at new Brighton healthcare we love him he is direct and nit afraid to say if he's unsure if something and will even jump on the Internet to research excercises etc. hes also not afraid of alternate medicine when called for. he's great!

Phillipa Ryan at the QEII medical centre is awesome. Pretty cautious and thorough, but that's what you want in a GP

Dr French and Dr Peacock at Travis medical are fantastic

Definitely New Brighton Healthcare. They were the Onex who got to the bottom of the problems with my legs. Katherine and Oana are both lovely and Sam has a good rep as well.

Halswell Health is great. All the doctors I've seen are great. Ours is Danielle Brown but her day off is my day off so i often see others.

Longhurst medical Centre is really good which is part of halswell health. Dr Sweeney is really good and Dr Danielle brown.

Dr Sandra Hicks, at Halswell or Longhurst Health. Have been seeing her for 13 years in Halswell, and probably 10 years in Hornby when I was growing up.

If u can, try Sarah Marr at halswellhealth(also longhurst). She is very popular and may not be taking on new patients but she is the real deal:)

Rebecca Nicholls at Cashmere health is a really thoughtful and thorough doctor. I can't recommend her enough. Cashmere health has all women doctors and if Rebecca isn't available I have absolute confidence in the other doctors as well. My husband also goes there

Belinda Hale at Integrated health Care on Barrington St Alternative medicine, they don't just treat the symptom like regular GP's, they get to the actual bottom of the cause and then treat that which in turn stops symptoms. Natural!!! mind, spiritual, body all work together. Healthy mind, spirit means a healthy body GP's generally just prescribe drugs, which isn't the answer in many chronic pain or mental health issues/cases. I can personally relate to you and have personally been treated and it works. Worth a try anyway. All the best.

I would also recommend Cashmere Health, any of the GP's are fantastic! If you are wanting any alternative advice, Helios in Opawa is also a good choice ;)

Cashmere Health, recommend them without hesitation. Great with children with chronic illness. We see Donna, but happily see any of the others if Donna is away. They also have a permanent locum Laura who covers their holidays. She is lovely too.

when we moved here Cashmere Health said they were full up and not taking any more patients. So we were thrilled to find David Rollinson at the Cashmere end of Barrington - Cashmere Medical Practise. He's great. Always had same day appointment and even a house call. Lovely calm and considered manner too.

Jonathan Aitken - his dad was my gp for 11 years and he has taken over - very thorough and very approachable.

Sarah Marr!! Been with her for 3 years and by far the best doctor I've ever had! So so so good at her job and has an awesome sense of humour, I did hear that she may not be taking many new patients as she's very high demand haha but worth a shot!!!!!!!!

I've Seen Phil Jacob for years and he is wonderful but sometimes difficult to get an appt. I also highly recommend Olivia Tan. She is fabulous and has literally changed my world ....from traumatic monthly migraine sufferer to well managed once in a blue moon blue moon

I see Katherine Lovell at NBHC and she has been great getting my "woman troubles" sorted.

I would have recommended Travis Family Medical Centre but it’s getting too hard to get an appointment.
