Need a mortgage broker recommendation Looking for a good local mortgage broker can you recommend someone?

How about a loan officer with a local bank? I know there is a difference from what you requested and I am not sure of your exact needs for one or the other. If interested in someone you can work with locally that can help you out with a mortgage, I can hook you up with a great resource at BB&T. Let me know if you prefer one over the other and if this would suffice. I am happy to forward contact info.

Do not use CenterBank or Summit Funding, both of these places changed the agreements of the loan on me. Most egregiously was Centerbank who changed my fix rate to adjustable with a much higher interest rate the day before signing. They try to force you into signing because you will lose down payment. I stopped the purchase and went with First Financial, they were better.

Locally based banks tend to work with you more if you are trying to get a loan and have some spectific situation. They know the local market, issues, etc. If that is what you are looking for, I recommend Union Savings Bank. They are locally owned and operated and they will never sell the servicing of your loan. You'll always deal with someone local. If you're specifically looking for a broker, try McKinley Mortgage in Blue Ash.

I used Kemba Credit Union based in West Chester. They were very helpful, process was painless, and I got a good rate.
