Hint: If ANY company advertises they top trees, avoid them like the plague. Even though you are asking about removal, topping is a very harmful practice, disapproved by every professional organization, and any company that would put in writing that they do it is not reputable. Two years ago I used "Care-A-Lot", Tree & Shrub to just take down some broken branches from two of my Oak Trees. They drove by several times and gave me a good price (and senior discount). They give free estimates..which they just drove by my house today when I was out in the yard & said hello.
