Not really sure what to say, but I have a few questions. Does anyone know of a neurologist or neurosurgeon in or near baton rouge Louisiana that does well with...
Susan R. replied:
I have seen Dr. Nanda at LSU in Shreveport. He is wonderful.
Katherine A. replied:
I'm in Denham Springs. My neurosurgeon is Dr. Allen Joseph at the Neuromedical Center in Baton Rouge. Hes listed as a pediatric NS but does both. A few other ladies I've talked to see Dr. Soleau there as well. My NL is Dr. Gawronski but honestly dont have much need for him and he doesnt seem well versed in Chiari.

Does anyone have a recommendation through the cleveland clinic of a pediatric neurologist that specializes in adhd or a specialist that specializes in adhd?
Anyone a patient of Neurologist Edward Westbrook - University Hospital?
Kathy B. replied:
I was but switched to Dr. Devereaux. Westbrook would never call back his secretary is nasty. I needed a refill of neurotin and he wouldn't call it in I went 5 days without and was in so much pain had to see pain doctor
Kathy B. replied:
His number is 1-216-844-3591, don't feel bad my last visit he thought I was depressed because I didn't say much and when he would listen to my questions I told him off. I was tired of being ignored and if his patients didn't come first maybe he should retire. I had optic neuritis and my neuro opthalmologist called him 5 times he wouldn't call him back either. Seeing Dr. Devereaux is easy they are in the same office.
Is there anyone who can recommend a Neurologist in the Kaiser system who is a MS specialist in California? I contacted the NMSS but they only have information about MS...

your stop should the Mellen Center. Personally, I have Adrianne Boissey whom I like because of her assertiveness but choose your doctor due to your interaction/confort level with them. If you check out the CCF site you can get a synopsis of the doctor s available that might help in your selection if you want to check out other facilities Dr. Norton Winer is a neurologist who is associated with University Hospitals; he was a speaker at one of the educational events I was notified of in part by MSAA

Kathy, My first personal experience w/Cl clinic, i'm helping a friend out, i had an infection and asked his doctor if it was bad for him for me to have it. Well she said while i'm waiting for his tests go to their ER and have it checked out. i figured i didnt really have time but i went anyways, i checked in and before i had a chance to get a cup of coffee i was treated! and that was Cleveland. The intake nurse asked some questions, got me an appointment with a primary care doc, i saw her in 2 days, no waiting for anything,.My primary set me up with a neurologist Mellen, no waiting, and The Cleveland Clinic saved my friends life when Akron General/Suma gave up. I love that place!
Ronna L. replied:

You guys are lucky, you have a lot of surgeons knowing Chiari in America, I understand there is a very good one in Australia too... But here in South Africa, Chiari is not commonly known. Luckily there was a Libian dr at the Red Cross Childrens hospital who knew what is was... Blessings for your future!
