Dr Timothy Amanncaortho.com. On Germantown Pike in East Norriton. Very nice & thorough. Great with athletes as well.
Alicia B. replied:
Sometimes ankle and knee injuries are treated by 2 different ortho doctors. I saw Dr William Emper for knee issue (torn ACL), and then a different Doctor in same practice for ankle injury, since they specialize in different joints. Then I was referred to Dr. Keith Wapner for surgery in my ankle (ruptured Peroneal tendon). Rothman and Pennsylvania Orthopaedics Foot and Ankle Surgeons. I am seeing Dr Farber at Penn now, for an ankle fracture (same practice as dr Wapner), and also saw Dr Langman and Dr Ross at Rothman. All excellent, knee and ankle better!

Alicia B. replied:
Joann Bauer-Blake, Dr Emper for knee. Dr Langman and Dr Ross for ankle. All at Rothman. Dr Ross did ultrasound steroid injection into ankle for perineal tendon sprain. Went to see Dr Keith Wapner (one of the best ankle surgeons in the country), at Penn, referred there by Rothman when they knew the tendon needed surgery. Now seeing dr Farber at Penn for the other ankle with a fracture that would not heal...now have a bone growth stimulator that I use for 30 min a day. I did lots of PT for these injuries as well...PT definitely helps as well!

I second East Norriton Women's Heath....I see Dr Blatt there, he has a great sense of humor (important to me) but is VERY thorough! I've had a couple of sensitive issues, saw his associate Dr Giuffrida for a procedure at Einstein and truly top notch. I also really like their appointment making process and access to test results online.

I used to go to Valley Forge Ob/gyn in Phoenixville when I lived there and they were great. Then I switched to East Norriton Women's Health when I moved here and wanted to have my third at the new Einstein in 2013. I like them too - have had the most experience with Dr. Adofo and Dr. Sansone.
