Dr. John D. Kelly IV......Penn Medicine. I saw 2 other orthopaedic surgeons before I saw Dr. Kelly for my shoulders. Both of which told me that the pain was the nature of my syndrome and to come back when I was 40. I was 24. I saw Dr. Kelly and with one MRI he saw the tears in my labrums that the other 2 completely missed. Great Doctor and great surgeon!

Look up dr Brill. She's the best I've seen. She use to be at Jefferson hospital but left a few years ago. I think she runs a breast ca program somewhere that's still pretty local. I know a lot of breast surgeons. She's the best.
Kim R. replied:
Dr. Paul Curcillo - Fox Chase
Nancy K. replied:
Dr Bruce Weiner, Phoenixville hospital, think he also does one of the main line hospitals. When I had breast cancer in 2009 I got my second opinion at fox chase. They told me I had the most common type of cancer (ductal) and the phoenixville cancer center was good for me, closer, less stress because of travel time. They have been very proactive about my follow up. If I can help in any way, feel free to pm me.

Looking for recommendations for the best hip surgeon in the area. Dr. Crusch at Rothman is not an option and I've already been to Dr. Ammon. Time for another opinion
Meredith M. replied:
Dr. Kelly at U of Penn....I had a torn labrum after childbirth. The joint fluid leaked out and formed a cyst right on the joint, so nobody would operate. Every other Dr just threw pain meds at me, but he was different. He went over everything with me, and was great with follow-up care. HIGHLY recommended! Dr. John Kelly IV, U of Penn
Barbara T. replied:
Dr schaf or dr smith Rothman. They are both at Physcians care surgical hospital. They have an inpatient unit. In limerick. I work there and you will get great care.

I see Dr. Irving Raber with Will's eye in the Bala Cynwyd office. I have corneal erosion and it has been a rough painful year. He has really calmed it and helped when no one else could. He was recommended by several ophthalmologists as the best in the area. Thank God I found him he has helped me tremendously. I will be having surgery next Wednesday with him. I would highly recommend him. Good luck to you!
