See Dr Marius de Almeida at Asiri Surgical. He is there daily in the evenings. No rush for appointments. Whoo he was a miracle . I suffered from a slip disc since 2005. In 2015 January a friend recommended him to me . In 15 minutes of consultation he fixed it and said u ok, u can go now. No operations, no scans etc. The only orthopedic doctor who examined my spinal chord. All The other doctors I chanelled only wanted to see MRIS, scans, X-rays one after the other but Not the spot where I had pain. Got second opinion pls see Dr Marius. I hear he was the dr in charge of accident service at kalubowila.

Colombo General Hospital has a physiotherapy unit and all base hospitals as well. Best is to find someone who lives in the area through one of these hospitals. Currently it is about Rs.1,000 per home visit which is the minimum. I would suggest that parents get advise from a physio and do it themselves with visits to one of the hospitals regularly.
