I've used VCA in Colonial Heights next to the Bowling Alley and Chester Vets next to Saporo Restuarant....They are both quite good....and do most all of their work in house...all very accommodating with very genuine care for our pets...

Chesdin Animal Hospital is great and very close to Ettrick. They're straight to the point and just care about taking care of the animal, not trying to push a million medications and procedures on you that probably aren't necessary.

Chesdin Vet between Dinwiddie and Matoaca is the cheapest and most effective vet I have ever seen. If you’re looking for spay/neuter Services, Richmond Animal League is very effective. So is Prevent a Litter.

I breed Border Collies and ive localed a few vets in the area and prices...quick in and out service,walk ins only and very reasonable prices is Academy Veterinary Clinic...All of the others are more expensive but you get very personable service and make appts to see which Vet u choose...you decide...that's what we did and sometimes your budget chooses for you..either way as long as the fur babies are healthy <3

You are correct, DR Pepper was invented by a Vet as an animal beverage. He was looking for something that could do exactly what you are after, to quell the sad puppy eyes of a distraught dog left with only water to quench their thirst. Just so happens it is tasty to us too! DOUBLE WIN!
