I've always had good luck with Hilliard Vet in the Lakeside area. Its a small veterinary practice, but Dr. Lewis is awesome! Not to mention it's one of the most affordable places I know in town

I live in Mechanicsville but got to quioccasin vet. http://quioccasinveterinaryhospital.com Dr Hiser is THE BEST. My dog never get nervous with her and he get nervous over everything! Wellness checks are usually 45-55$ and they were the most reasonable I found for shots as well. I called about 10 vets when I got my dog.

We used to take our cats & dog to Hanover Green, but they charged more and I just felt they didn't care as much for their furry patients. Started taking them to Mechanicsville Animal Hospital & they are cheaper and care about the animals. My neighbor is a state trooper & he takes his 2 dogs there plus his search dog.

If you have big dogs I wouldn't recommend Bell Creek, the vet there appeared uncomfortable and nervous dealing with my Great Danes. We use Mechanicsville Animal Hospital, they have been great, the vets and vet techs alike, and they all truly love the pets that come in there.

Montpelier Vetinary is great. Dr. Scott Neviaser and Dr. Allison Neviaser are great! They will take care of your dogs needs. Many say they are higher in cost but I have found that this isn't necessarily true in all cases! For me it's worth every penny to know my babies are getting the best care out there!

Call Hanover Animal Control and ask if there will be any more Pet Clinic any time soon. Most are in Dec and Jan and will save you $$ on yearly and rabies shots.

I love Aylett Animal Hospital! They don't talk to you like you're dumb and they're sweet to the pets. All the vets are wonderful but Dr. Jewell worked with my baby to manage his diabetes and when he went into renal failure. They'll cut you deals on flea and heart worm treatments too

We have used Doug Huston for more than 25 years. We love him. Lee Davis Vet. Always easy to get appt as well. Treated dogs with cancer and heart condition. The dogs really like him too. Nice walking area for them if they are nervous.
