I second Sunshine House! They give a 10% military discount too. They include diapers, wipes & training pants and breakfast, lunch & snack. They are clean, have great directors and do parents-night-out once a month. They are more affordable compared to Primrose & Goddard and a lot of my teacher friends take their kids there too. They have the following accredidations too: NAEYC, NACCP, NECPA & they are apart of ACCYN.

Here is a website through Colorado Department of Human Services that lists ALL licensed daycare's (daycare centers and in home daycare's). On the first page hit the box that says "parent" and put in your zip code. This will take you to another page, put in your address and hit continue. A map will come up showing all licensed daycare's near you (and you can also expand out the map further and look through the entire city). Because this is done through the state, you can click on each location and see further information (i.e. how long the person/center has been licensed, last renewal, how many kids they are licensed for, if there have been any reported incidents and whether those incidents were founded or unfounded). It will also list contact information. This was a tremendous resource to me and I like that it was done through the state so I knew all providers were licensed. http://www.colorado.gov/apps/jboss/cdhs/childcare/lookup/index.jsf

You can also call Child Care Connections for information on all licensed child care provides in a given zip code. The state web site listed above is great and it also has a way for you to check on complaints filed with the state. We have just had our licensing inspection and came through with with flying colors. Be sure to ask to see the licensing and health/fire inspections for whatever centers you go see. Feel free to call us if you need care on the north central side of town (off Academy and Lehman).

I would definitely look into Rhonda Adam Feasel. She is licensed. In Colorado it is illegal to watch 2 kids (not siblings) and charge. Being licensed is really important. She also does preschool with the kids.
