On the chiropractic line, I also see Dr. Pantazis. She is totally wonderful, but doesn't do the traction and moving the neck back kind of stuff which past chiropractors have done (doesn't do with me), and I miss that. There are some very different styles of chiro. On the acupuncture side of things, I used to see Karen Moore in Greenbelt, 240-351-8957. She's a fine acupuncturist, but her schedule did not mesh well with mine. Velma, I would suggest speaking with Dr. Pantazis about your questions. She does do traction, etc., depending on her Dx of the individual patient's needs. Also, if referred by a physician, she takes into account any notes, etc. that your physician may send to her. The final decisions as to the treatments she uses however rests with her. Chiropractic, like medicine, is both an art and a science. What one practitioner may have done for someone in the past, may not be what another one feels is in their best interests at the present time and given a patient's health history at the current time.
