Hey all! anyone know any good acupuncturists and chiropractors in or around Greenbelt?
Little C. replied:
hi! see Chiro Dr Pantazis Glenn Dale and she is amazing! Acu Kathy Gonzalez in Berwyn Hghts is also fantastic. I get so much relief from both regular services from them.
Amii L. replied:
I love my chiropractor in Beltsville/Calverton: Dr. Mark Wells. Very open minded progressive, etc. 301-572-1655.
Velma K. replied:
On the chiropractic line, I also see Dr. Pantazis. She is totally wonderful, but doesn't do the traction and moving the neck back kind of stuff which past chiropractors have done (doesn't do with me), and I miss that. There are some very different styles of chiro. On the acupuncture side of things, I used to see Karen Moore in Greenbelt, 240-351-8957. She's a fine acupuncturist, but her schedule did not mesh well with mine. I now see Michael Phillips, recommended by someone on the Greenbelters list--he is great, but way off in Columbia. http://www.fourgateswellness.com/
Bob R. replied:
Velma, I would suggest speaking with Dr. Pantazis about your questions. She does do traction, etc., depending on her Dx of the individual patient's needs. Also, if referred by a physician, she takes into account any notes, etc. that your physician may send to her. The final decisions as to the treatments she uses however rests with her. Chiropractic, like medicine, is both an art and a science. What one practitioner may have done for someone in the past, may not be what another one feels is in their best interests at the present time and given a patient's health history at the current time.
Kathie N. replied:
Dr. Bezak is good and has his own FB page
Dawn M. replied:
Can second Amii's recommendation. We've known Dr. Wells for 15 years now, and he's just fabulous!!
Joanie C. replied:
Frances Canter Corbin in College Park is awesome!
Bob R. replied:
Ella Pantazis in Glenn Dale is the only chiropractor to ever make "Washintonian's top doctors." She is also one of the very few and significantly small number of chiropractors to get referrals from local specialists and physicians.
Lore R. replied:
Rhonda Raven Neuhaus, here are two more, both live in Greenbelt. Diane Shandor has a practice in Silver Spring. I believe Ellie Isaac can see clients here in Greenbelt. She is also part of the Greenbelt Time Bank, if you prefer to pay in "hours" than dollars. Both have given me permission to post their contact info. I also LOVE Haydee Morrison in Clarksville, Ellen. She is the absolute best! She uses a very well-rounded approach to spine health (not just the typical adjustments).
Anyone have a chiropractor they have used and recommend? Thanks!
Anne M. replied:
I used Dr Dabbs off of snowden. Lived both he and his wife but I don't know if they are still there.
Lorraine C. replied:
Dr. Tracy Ball-Ostopowicz in Ellicott City. She fixes you up & gets you back to life. She doesn't try to get you to come back for 'maintenance' to keep her business alive, but is always there if you need her. http://www.activehealthchiropractic.com/activehealthchiropractic/index.php
Claire L. replied:

Yes and love! Have to be careful about them saying how often you need to go (i get great relief from going half as often as they suggest) but i do love my adjustments. Howard County Chiro is good. I used to go to them when i lived there
Joan L. replied:
My regular physician kept recommending I go to see one for a chronic neck problem. After several years, I finally agreed to see Dr. Brian Morrison. Why did I wait so long? I suggest you give it a try. I felt better right away.
Ericka G. replied:
Nina, Dr. Dexheimer is in Columbia or you can go to Physical Therapy... Chesapeake PT. they are associated and in the same building as Supreme Sports Club on Snowden.
