Second vote for Ron Air. 2 weeks ago our downstairs gas furnace was not working. I checked it and the gas line was shut off. But after turning it on, it still was not working. It was a Saturday but they came over within 30 minmutes to look at it. At that time it was working fine. The tech told me there was a lock out delay and thats why it did not work at first. He did not charge me for the service call.

A-Quality Heating and A/C has always been good to me, but give the home warranty people a try. Hopefully you don't need a new system, but I've heard if you do, home warranty people are going to replace with a really cheap system (builder grade or less), not something nice like a Carrier or Ruud, just so you know.

Steven knows the details but we went with the energy savings ones (we have two units) and we saw a huge savings in our bills over the summer AC months. And, the house is a way more consistent temperature. The new units are much more efficient then the old ones. More comfortable with AC and heat. We used BGE Home (which is not BGE). I'll ask him for specifics and message you.
