CoMO folks: Do you have an eye doctor you love? I need a basic check up and a new prescription and would love to hear of an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist whom you would...
Sam M. replied:
Hmm...it's actually James Gamble the optometrist. Jerry Porter is the optician. That guy fitted my glasses right before Beth and I got married (1984) and is still there today and going strong! Columbia Eye Consultants has two locations but the guys we're talking about are located at the Keene Medical Building next to Regional Hospital. http://www.cecoptometry.com/home.php
Sam M. replied:
Try Schoengarth (ophthalmologist) at Regional-Columbia Eye Consultants. He's awesome. Jerry Porter is their main optical guy and is equally good.

We really like Andrew Stone Optometry - in the Cherry Hill area. Very friendly and has helped us out with some "contact emergencies?
Moray K. replied:
Dr. Bonham at Columbia Eye Consultants is a terrific Dr.......
Molly G. replied:
Sounds like Columbia Eye Consultants is the place to be. Thanks y'all!
Can anyone in the Columbia area recommend a good ophthalmologist? (Preferably one that's not really scary, or ridiculously more expensive than others?)
Bee S. replied:
Adam and I love Dr Andrew Stone. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and is very good at what he does. He takes eye or health insurance. He probably isn't the cheapest but he is excellent.
Benjamin G. replied:
I go to Jennings Eye Associates. They are good, but I'm not sure about the price as how they compare to other places.
