Wonderful! I just had another friend recommend Tiger Peds, different Doctor, and they take my insurance. Win! Thank you all SO much.

I asked a couple weeks ago and Dr Weidt was recommended by quite a few people.

Any of the Docs at Tiger Pediatrics are awesome. We see Dr. Wheeler

I agree Tiger Peds is great! We see Dr. Harris but have also seen Dr. Weidt and Dr. Hagan. We liked them both also.

Tiger pediatrics is who we go through - Dr. Laura Weidt specifically. We love her! Try to find someone who has had kids of their own (Dr. Weidt has two kids). Makes it better when they can relate. The number for Tiger Peds is 563-777-7627. The nurses are also great there, and all of them are good about returning calls.

Adam Wheeler hands down is the best pediatrician in Columbia! We stayed with him even when we moved to Jefferson city. If he isn't taking new patients, anyone at Tiger Pediatrics is amazing. Honestly you won't find better pediatricians. I am VERY picky about doctors (VERY VERY picky! I will go through several until I find a Dr I trust to know what they are doing medically obviously, listens, doesn't rush you out, answers all your questions, addresses all your concerns, and will actually personally return calls and speak to you on the phone when necessary)!!! Their phone number is 573-777-7627. I don't think they are affiliated with Boone or University specifically, I might be wrong but I think they used to be Boone but now Women's & Children's hospital. I tagged him in this post so he can correct me if I'm wrong on the hospital

Dr. Holly Bondurant. She was the go to for basically all nurses and most docs I worked with when in CoMO. She was also really nice on the phone when she would call to check on her hubby in OR.

Dr. Bondurant is at Tiger Ped. same clinic as Dr Wheeler... almost certain! I have heard great things about her too. All the docs in that clinic are honestly amazing. I would call and see if you can make an appointment to meet some doctors and go with your instincts. Mommy's instincts are the best way to decide.

I second the opinion on Nathan Beucke.....AMAZING! He's kind, never rushes, calls to check on the kids a couple of days after a sick check up....WONDERFUL! 882-4730 - Green Meadows Pedeatric!

Dr Beuke has been great he knows us even when we see him at a football game or Walmart comes in when his office is closed to give Caelan an exam after he had his seizure and stopped in the middle of Walmart parking lot to look him over after he noticed Caelan still not wanting to use his arm after his collar bone incident.

I don't think you're asking or expecting too much, Becky. You'd like to think your doctor actually knows you. Dr Pecorak knows us in public. He calls to check on the girls after hours. He's very laid back and very kind. And his nurse, Gina (sp?), is wonderful. We LOVE her. That's just my ten cents. ;) Not everyone at Tiger Pediatrics is terrific, but we feel Pecorak is.

Dr. Robert Atteberry in sunset hills. We love him and the whole office. My doctor takes his kids there., so he must be good

Jay Epstein at Forest Park a Pediatric. He was one of my pediatricians when I was a kid and he's Simon's now. Solid, doesn't over diagnose or medicate, and will totally shoot you straight.

I actually used to see Dr. Plax Sr. but saw Dr. Danny a couple of times in my latter years with my ear/tonsil problems. The Children's Clinic is always a first choice for me!

Dr. Pecorak at Tiger Pediatrics. Great, dry sense of humor, think Ben Steinish, and he is a believer. Works with Boone.

We like that Dr. Pecorak allows us to be more holistic.

My little girl goes to Dr. Kahleel at green meadows. She will have her second child soon, so on top of the schooling she has personal experience as well. Doesnt make you seem ignorant for asking questions, and doesn't just do the check up really fast and leave. She actually takes interest and will talk for a bit. And anytime we have a Q and call her, she returns the call at by the end of the day.

Love Tiger Peds! We see Dr. Pecoric and love him. He is the third ped. Weve been with and I dont plan on switching anytime soon

Dr. Beal is awesome. He opened his office in the blizzard 2 years ago just to see us. Plus he has a very calm manner and his staff is fantastic.

My kids all see Dr. Eskridge at Green Meadows. He's definitely my favorite of the peds we have seen. Very laid back, addresses our concerns with compassion, actually remembers our kids from visit to visit, and has always been able to help us in whatever way our kids needed.

We love Dr. Garb. We switched from another pediatrician after feeling the care was not adequate. Dr. Garb is no nonsense but has decades of experience. He was my husband's pediatrician as a child! He has had me call his cell numerous times when my kids were sick, came in on a Sunday, etc. Above and beyond in my book. When my daughter was in the hospital for a severe bacterial infection, the other pediatric nurses said that loved Dr. Garb as well!

Dr. Hagen at Tiger Pediatrics. He doesn't dismiss your concerns and make you feel silly. I'm a FTM that reads too much lol

Dr. Helen Thomas at Tiger Peds is wonderful!

We go to Dr Ausmus at University Physicians Woodrail. I really like him. He listens to all of our first time parent concerns and doesn't dismiss them. He is a recent first time dad (has an almost 2 year old). I like that he has dealt with the baby stuff first hand so recently. Dr. Abigail Emerson at the same office is really great too!

We adore Dr Khaleel.

We see Dr. Wheeler at Tiger Peds. He's really laid back and real which offsets my mom-craziness, ha. We like him!

Dr Holly Bondurant at Tiger Peds has been fantastic! Very laid back, always takes the time to answer our millions of questions and puts us at ease. She obviously stays current on all the latest research, but also mixes in real life advice from being a mom herself and things her patients have told her work for them. She has always told us what things we are able to start doing with our kiddo, but doesn't pressure us if we are not ready to start doing them (i.e. medications, feeding solids, etc).

Wr see Dr Cleary at green meadows peds. Wr love her. She talks to both us and our kids, and never makes us worry about anything.

We have also seen Dr. Clary and really like her!

Jodee go with Tiger Pediatric's. Harlee sees Dr. Bondurant. You dont spend forever waiting to get called back either. I wish they had that place when I had the other 3 kids. They even have a separate waiting area for the kids that are sick.

Dr Beal is Laken's which she has seen since the day she was born! Never liked anyone else.

Our pediatrician isn't accepting new patients, but Dr. Joy Drass at Green Meadows Peds is and she is as also amazing, and accepting new patients! We've had to see her a couple times and really liked her, and I've heard nothing but good from others who take their kids to her.

I'm so glad! You will love Dr. Hagen! He is so sweet and gentle with the kids, and really good at reasssuring parents and telling you what's important and what's not. His nurse, Chelsea, is awesome too. We were lucky, he was the pediatrician on call the day Evan was born, and we liked him so much we stuck with him!

I tried getting Dr. Bondurant but Tiger Peds said she wasnt taking new patients, I think its more that I was set up with Weidt and they didnt want to switch us for some reason. Addilyn sees Dr. Weidt there and shes been good, but we havent been besides weight checks and bili levels bc she was jaundice and her two month shots. She is nice though:)

We use Dr Amanda Swenson at Green Meadows clinic. She's a FCP not just a ped. We love her! She's really hard to get into.. literally a few months to get a well visit scheduled. So worth it though.. even worth the drive from Moberly.

Lib my niece said Dr.Moylan he was at St. Luke's when she worked there. she said anyone in that group. They do have an offive in LS.

Where are you going to deliver? The hospital should give you a list to check out! I've heard a lot of good things about Summit Pediatrics. The managing physician there also used to be on staff at children's mercy and I've only heard great things from there!
