The Humane Society of Concord & Greater Cabarrus County always needs dog walkers and other helpers. Cabarrus Shelter Cats needs fosters and help with transporting cats.

You can volunteer at the hospital Carolinas HealthCare System has a volunteer office. You can even work at the Children's Hospital. Reach out to the hospital directly

You could always set up a go fund me to raise money or at least take the cat for an initial exam to see what the vet says. It may not be anything serious. Try Dr. Pressley at Brookdale Animal Hospital.

This is not a good animal shelter as they are high kill, but Gaston Co animal shelter. We adopted one of our kitties from there 5 years ago and he is the sweetest boy ever! I feel sorry for all the animals there. Seems like Gaston Co people shouldn't be allowed to even own pets.
