Can anyone recommend a good neurologist? One that spends time with you to find out what's causing your problems instead of sending you off with drugs you don't even...
Margaret M. replied:
Northeast Neurology in Concord. I saw Dr. Mitchell there several years ago and very happy about the experience (not the diagnosis). They were great especially since I had a fairly rare condition. But he took time and was very knowledgeable.

It depends on what type of neurologist you are looking for. My daughter has epilepsy and we went to Wake Baptist Health in Winston Salem. It is a teaching hospital and her doctor specialized in that.

I was about to suggest Dr. Eric Moser, but he leaving his practice at month's end. Personally, I've had good luck with Mecklenburg Neurological Associates in Concord.

Primary Address NorthEast Neurology - Concord 315 Medical Park Drive, Suite 202 Concord, NC 28025 Phone: 704-403-1911 This is who my mom has gone to since 2000 and is really pleased with him.
Looking for recommendations for a neurologist who actually is interested in helping their patients not just a co-pay. TIA.
Nancy V. replied:
Kate I am her mother. Wake Baptist health is hands down the best around. PM me if you want details/more info. I would not go here in town again for anything (and we tried 3). It is the entire picture. Not just the doctor. The staff,Doctor and Hospital care is what you have to look at for this type of problem.

Dr. Christine Hagen at Winston Neurology in Kernersville. She and her PAs are great. I went from having over 200 migraines a year to less than 50. She works with you.
