So I looked into Brookdale Animal Hospital $53 for a basic exam! Wow! Is that the going rate? I've had dogs for years and I've never been quoted an exam rate past $35. Thoughts?

I use Poplar Animal Hospital and really like Dr.Justice, they are in Concord about 10 min from Harrisburg.

Dr. Magryta at Salisbury Pediatrics is amazing!!! He doesn't rush through appointments and give generic diagnosis with a prescription just to get you out the door. He answers questions, and he listens when you have concerns. He takes parent concerns very seriously!! He was the only one who listened when my daughter had croup.... That the sick clinic said was just an upper respiratory infection. And again the only one who listened when she had an intestinal block. That the sick clinic and er initially said was just the stomach flu. He's top of my list!!

Cabarrus Pediatrics in concord across from hospital is phenomenal!! They are there Saturday morning and have an after hours nurse line to answer and concerns. Great staff and all the doctors take that special time with each child.

I use Dr Trang Vuong at the lakeside primary - afton location. She is GREAT! Very responsive to my chart messages, honest and kind. I’ve been very happy with her!

We live on the harrisburg/concord line and go to Lakeside Peds Mint Hill location. It's just off 485 and we could not be happier. Dr. Berger has been amazing after another local doc wasn't very supportive of breastfeeding. It may be worth a Google to see if it's close enough!

Rocky Rive Pediatrics gets my vote too.

I agree with April Reebel. Both my boys have been with Univ Peds since birth & we are very happy with them. We go to the Mint Hill location because it's easier to schedule, park, & less wait time. Plus, Dr. Breach is there & she is awesome.

Dr. Guerrero, DO at Suburban Pediatrics hands down. He was Elizabeth's Doctor. I appreciate his Holistic education and is what brought me to him. Then I met him and saw that he's everything I ever wanted in a Dr. Elizabeth hasn't seen him in a long while though as she opted to start seeing a female Dr.

Suburban Pediatrics are great. We LOVE Dr. Lods! Added bonus, he's funny! We've always had great luck getting appointments the same day-- and early in the day too-- if Rebekah is sick. We drive out to their Davidson branch- but it's really at Poplar Tent/73 not far. They have later hours Monday night too.

We started at Suburban ped and love Guerrero. However, the office staff was not the best. We changed to Dr Prakash and absolutely love her. My niece is still with her. The only reason why we moved to Dr Vuong is that I have one child that will be 18 soon and she wants to be with the same doctors I have. We really like her too.

We see Dr Voung at lakeside primary for my husband and I and love her too.

Dr Prakash was our favorite...Caleb also liked Guerrero....and I have had good experience consulting with Dr Soucie about my "speech kids"...but I definitely recommend the "pre-interview". And you will probably see a different ped in the hospital and can interview them too (important if it's a boy and you are considering the old snip-snip)

Most any of the doctors at Suburban. We saw Dr. Seldon (although she's in the Huntersville office now). Always had great care and able to get them in to on-call doctor of they were sick.

Don't go to Cabarrus Family medicine. I like the Drs my boys had but they are always busy and super difficult to get an appointment. Plus you wait forever even if you are on time or early for your appointment.

We have gone to see Dr Soucie at Rocky River Pediatrics for the past 11 yrs.

Same here on Rocky River. We also see Dr. Soucie. We have been going to her for almost 10 years. I found her because as an Elementary School teacher I would see her name over and over in my student's records as their ped. I knew she was good if everyone was going to her!

We love LOVE Concord children's clinic!!! Silly New mom me didn't know I was supposed to pick out a pediatrician before I had my son. So I was in labor, and told the nurse to pick someone for me lol. Dr. Prakash came in 2 hour later at 11pm. My son has cleft palate, and none of the nurses knew how to feed him. (I couldn't nurse, he couldn't suck). I was in tears! Prakash came in and She was so so helpful! She yelled at the nurses to get going in helping my baby, and stayed with me for 2 hours to make sure we were all good! Dr Richards came by several times the following few days. She has been amazing. She respects my alternate vaccine schedule (although doesn't approve!), Is great about informing me of things, but not overwhelming. Hands out her home phone! Seriously a God send!!

Definitely recommend concord children's clinic. Both as a mom and former employee. Knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter loves seeing all the providers. Dr Richards has been a great help since the beginning for my little one, who was born with a congenital endocrine issue, and is willing to help me out when I feel something isn't quite right.

Following. We are changing because I want out of CHS. My husband and I go to a Novant office and we are leaning towards Lakeside Family Physicians for her too.

I just read the lawsuit against Atrium/CHS. The MD group main complaint is that they HAVE to refer to other CHS places but they charge as much as 150% more than other area hospitals.

Novant health pediatrics highland creek. They are a new group and the doctors are exceptional.

University Family Physicians. I've been taking my kids there for 20 years. Dr. Barkley is the best!
