It gets out at 1:00 and our oldest grandson went from 1 yrs old to 4 and was far and above the rest of kindergartners! Our second grandson started at 1 and this is his 3 rd year. It is loving, friendly, and they do a great balancing act! Call and make an appointment to speak with someone, you won't be disappointed! It is very sought after and spots fill up quickly!

New Beginnings Preschool in Concord (on campus of St. James the Greater Church). I volunteer there - teach art enrichment to preK and transitional K students. Besides the regular curricula for each age group, there are other enrichment programs in addition to art (Spanish, music, etc.). Next week, I am giving my DaVinci lesson and we are drawing our own Mona Lisas. The children's art work has been on display during the annual Spring into Arts Festival in downtown Concord. Schedule a tour at your convenience! Places fill up fast.

If you’re looking for full time daycare then Harrisburg Presbyterian Church is the place you want to be. We had our daughter there for 3 years (from 2-5) left in 2012 for Kindergarten and are back now in our 3 rd year with our son. I love that there are still some of the same teachers and he has learned so much as well as being taught the love of Christ. It’s fantastic!! If looking for half day preschool, Stepping Stones is definitely the choice you should make there. While my children didn’t attend this preschool, it is run through my church, Harrisburg Methodist Church and I have known several people who sent their children and have raved about it. Good luck on your search!

Grace Church is great in Harrisburg! I heard from teachers years ago when my 1 st two were in preschool that they could tell how much the kids coming from Grace had learned. My 3 rd kid is there now and we love it. Last year we did split time between Grace and Central United Methodist Church in downtown Concord. CUMC is great as well and gets raving reviews too.

Harrisburg Presby but I think they have a waiting list. Pitts Bapt is good. I hear Providence Bapt is good too. Grace Presby too but also heard a wait list. Others on here have recommended Elite Pre-school.
Briana B. replied:
Our 3 yr old was at Providence for 2 years. Great program. The drawback is the time they're open - 9 am-1 pm up to 5 days per week, and they follow Cabarrus County's school calendar. Teacher workdays, holidays & snow days they're closed. Only 4 hours of care made it difficult for both of us to work without asking our family for significant help. But I will say, they have a solid program. Kennedy is now at Mary Frances Wall Center, but she would possibly still be Providence if they had a longer 'school' day.
Briana B. replied:
Rene, I can't get their website to come up and I searched for it on Google. I'm getting a '500' error. Is it just my computer? Someone else try... www.ruckushouse.com I'm curious as to their rates.
