I travel to a vet in St Lucia for my fur babies. Gold Coast Vets are rip off merchants my poor cats epilepsy medication was quoted at $230 for 100 tablets but my Brisbane vet provides the exact same tablets in a larger 200 tablet bottle for $25. Ts hard to find a good vet who won't rip you off !!

With that many fur babies I'd be ringing Wet Noses Mobile Vet! They have taken wonderful care of my babies over the years and the best part is of course...they come to you!

The Vet Lounge has some excellent vets no doubt as that was the only vet we used but compared to Pimpama Pet Vet who provides equal if not better service and care, they are a rip off in terms of $$$. Gavin at Pimpama is awesome. Can't beat them for care and value for money.

Coomera Springs Vet - such caring staff. Our lab/rottweiler cross has had 2 large ops there and was well looked after both times, as was I:)

The Vet Lounge also has practices at Ormeau and Currumbin so if Coomera isn't convenient maybe one of the other practices are

Dr Gilmour at the Animal Welfare League is one of the leading Vets on the Gold Coast, I definitely would recommend you go there. Their fees are reasonable, staff friendly and eager and the money you spend goes to a great cause to boot. Goodluck

I have a 'rescue dog' had a great vet but she just didn't like him. No fault of his of cause, took her to Pimpama vet and they took so much time, got on the ground with her etc and she's fine with them.:)

Hi if you hold a concession card please apply for a voucher online at our website for Animal Welfare League Coombabah. They charge $144 to desex a medium female dog (10-25 kg). If she is over 25 kg they charge $174. There can be extra charges so you need to check. If you don't hold a concession card (health care/pension) their prices are very reasonable also. They are booked out for at least one month though. Our vouchers are valid for 2 months from date of issue. Their contact number is 55940111.
