Since it is not a 4 x4, decide what you want out of it. Do you want IFS and 4 wheel dics? Or do you want stock and good controle? They do make front disc conversion kits for the stock axle, maybe not the rear but no biggie. Midfifty.Com is my go to sour ce. if you for ifs do the crown vic swap. it is by far cheaper and you can do it without taking much apart. The downside is you will have the small 5 lug in front and the big 5 lug in back. That is why it gets swapped out for an explorer rear and why not a disc At the same time... so the fastest is rebuild your front end and convert to disc With under the floor power brake booster. Or dive in to the ifs for not much more cost and some drilling and welding. The ifs can be done in a weekend...no joke.
I'm looking for any type of farm work or mechanic work private message me if anyone knows of any places
