I can remember when this building was Claude Williams service station and garage. Meeks plumbing occupied the building for a number of years.

Standard Oil and various service stations, produce stands, detail shops. Across the street from the Chrysler dealership of Wise and Locke. Mr Broadus Wise always joked about their company name B. Wise and Locke.

No, Cheryl, this is not known as Stovall Building. The Food Factory on Main is located at old Stovall Building. The Fowler car dealership was at a different location in Cornelia. At the present time, this area is used for "overflow of Fender customers" to park. Today is Thursday--turkey dressing day at Fenders--so got a feeling there is an overflow of cars parked there.
