Thank you so much everyone! I can't thank you enough for your responses. Dr. McNaughton was wonderful. My poor Gus got into some flowers and ended up sick and dehydrated. Lots of IV fluid and nausea medicine for my lil guy until he starts recovering!

I am so glad your pup got help and my advice follows the majority, Dr McNaughton is amazing and so understanding. Good man, bless him! He gave us 2 1/2 extra years with our beloved Kyanna, then he laid her to rest when her cancer came back.

I do home infusions pretty regularly and hate always throwing these out (and their caps). They are just empty syringes, normal saline and heparin, no needles, nothing...

http://www.medidrop.ca/locations_e.php They should be dropped off in the boxes near the Medi Drop locations. Anyone accepting these to reuse them would have no idea what was in them before. Therefore not a good idea to reuse them, even if they were just used for saline and heparin.
