We've used howliday inn. http://www.howlidayinn.org/mobile/ It was nice. And sophia (golden retriever) was very happy when we picked her back up. They provided a schedule and a little scrapbook page of her weekend spent there. She had her own sleeping quarters and they took her to play as well :)

I would never send my dog anywhere but StoneRidge Kennel in Martintown. They are very attentive and located in the country away from busy streets, etc. Dogs are walked, allowed to be off-leash in a fenced in area and kept on a schedule. Also, they have dog doors in each kennel that lead to a fenced in area so the dogs can go outside whenever they please.
