Leena P. replied:
Not sure if they do general anesthetic but I do know they do emergency same day appointments https://www.facebook.com/bhandaldental/
Sharon G. replied:
The Dental department at City Of Coventry Health Centre can do general anaesthetic

Id recommend Longford dental practice 100%, I am horrified of going to the dentist but had 2 wisdom teeth out under IV sedation with them and they were great. Didn't feel a thing wasn't aware of anything it was like being asleep. If you deffo want it done under GA you will have to be referred via your dentist but I think there is a long wait. I waited 3 weeks for a sedation refferal
Sharlene Q. replied:
Best place is Dr Jamal at Longford dental practice
Karen E. replied:
Try Longford dental practice. They are amazing
Claire R. replied:
Not bhandals! No way! If you are scared please try Marlborough Dental near ball hill. Only dentist in Coventry I will actually sit in the chair with. If you need GA you will have to go to hospital via referral.
Can anyone recommend a good dentist in the area please ?

A friend just moved there and was happy with it. My dentist is in Hinckley so cannot otherwise help! If you need implants though, can heartily recommend Graham Murray in Cheylesmore.
Sean C. replied:
Cowboy Dentists Ltd are very good. They use good old rusty pliers for extractions and the trusty lump hammer for anaesthesia.
Can anyone recommend a decent dentist for cosmetic work.....??.after years of abuse my teeth look like a tribute to Stonehenge ....bout time I bit the bullet (excuse the...
Hi, my little family are moving into the area (sherrington avenue) as our son will start at St. John's in September. It sounds like such a fab community and place to...

It's a cracking area. No places to avoid really - everywhere is safe and decent. Unlike some parts of Coventry, there's no real problems in the area. Some of the shops in the area don't even have shutters to protect them at night - so that shows how decent the area is. In some parts of Coventry, the first sight of a shutterless, unprotected window wouldn't last long before vandals smash it. All of the shops are good. Allesley Park medical centre is good - especially Dr Butler and Dr Jones. Good, old, "proper" doctors that actually care and listen. Can't comment on dentists because mine is on the other side of town. Sadly, the Take-aways aren't the best though. The Chinese has gone downhill in recent months, Chicken Express has had a few issues since it opened last year, and I'm yet to have any decent chips from the chippy. Can't comment on the Indian (Pubali) though - never been in there. If you want a decent chippy within driving distance, Chick King on Holyhead Road is always really good.

Stacie Jones its mike_heeley55@yahoo.co.uk. Mike Heeley is the group scout leader for the 46 th scout group on allesley park! The group meets at the Scout Hut next to the community centre at the top of winsford Ave... its a lovely group... all 3 of my boys go there and girls are welcome too!

Id watch Stacie Jones she's abit of an animal lol x I think it's a lovely area, very welcoming people,

The park is brilliant and all the takeaways at the bottom shops are pretty good. The Minstrel Boy pub on Buckingham Rise has just got new landlords in and they are doing good value decent food, children are welcome and it has a great atmosphere.... also St Christopher's Church run a messy church once a month at Whoberley School, the next one will be in a couple of weeks. There's a community fun day on 28th June which is being hosted by St Johns school this year. There's a joint outdoor service for Allesley Park Evangelical Church and St Christopher's being held in the park by the pond on 29th from 1.00pm including picnic and games.... and both churches are very family friendly if you would like to join us on Sunday and both are welcoming to new families... welcome to the area... its a lovely area to live in!
Any recommendations for a Coundon or fairly close NHS dentist? .... Preferably really good with kids. I've been traipsing me & daughter all the way back to Rugby twice...
