Dr. Good at Town and Country (Gresham Rd.) is wonderful.
Craig R. replied:
Although Dr Best is a great man. His office overbooked and slow. He is the doctor I referred to above
Christina N. replied:
Dr Best is wonderful. The office can run slow, so it might be best to go to him once your dog is back in good health. I hope your boy gets good care and is okay!
Michele R. replied:
I love East Paulding Animal Hospital, but they are about 10 miles out Dallas Highway. The whole staff is great and prices are reasonable.

Dr. Jeff Bowen, The Ark Animal Clinic. It is on Highway 278. Not too far from Marietta. He is wonderful. 770-943-9820. Totally clean, have a grooming facility as well. Total care. I have a Pekinese rescue pet. Jeff has taken care of him most of his life. All of his staff are friendly, they know me by face and if I need to leave town, this is where my Solomon stays. They also have a senior discount which I appreciate being on SS. You won't find a better place to take your new love.

Cumberland Animal Clinic in Smyrna - worth the 15 minute drive! We've been going there for 9 years.
Can anyone recommend a vet in the area? We are new here and we don't know anyone. Cash flow is tight but we need someone to examine our dog. He is 11.

We had a terrible experience at Sylva Animal Hospital. Following to see about other recs.
Nancy C. replied:
Love Sylva Animal Hospital! Have lived here for 18 years and is the only vet I have ever used. Sorry that you have had problems there Kristy.
Brooklyn M. replied:
The staff has never been friendly at Sylva Animal Hospital and I personally think their prices are astronomical. I use Cherokee Animal Care Clinic- best prices, and Dr. Robbie is very kind
Gretta M. replied:
Actually I used Jackson Country Veterinarian Associates - they knew who I was ... my cat was at the point of death and they refused to fit him in, Sylva Animal Hospital told me they didn't have anything available, but asked me what was going on - I told them, was up on hold and then told the vet said for me to get there immediately. He had an exam, two IV's of medication and a weeks worth of medication to be taken three times a day at a cost of $65 which was much cheaper than I expected. Between JCVA misdiagnosing my dog which caused him to be put down and refusing to see my cat, they will never see a dime of my money again. Plus, Sylva Animal Hospital works closely with ARF and Catman.
Stuart S. replied:
Another vote here for Sylva Animal Hospital. Their new facility is very nice and they have off hours emergency services. The only other emergency vet is REACH in Asheville. I've taken my cat twice for urinary issues and Dr. Wall is very thorough and knowledgeable.
Angela F. replied:
Sylva Animal hospital.
Gretta M. replied:
There is at least four in the Sylva area ... Sylva Animal Hospital by far is the best
