Of course, Dr Michael Lesser is the best. Woodland Hills though.

VCA anywhere is going to be high priced. Not sure how far from you but we use Southern California Animal Hospital in La Puente. Very rescue friendly with proof of nonprofit status

I only know of two place w/Cardio vets in Lawndale, and Santa Monica. There are not many Cardio vets, certified true cardio. I had a cat for 3 yr drove to Lawndale, price weren't paid, and cat lived 2 1/2 yrs longer then non-cardio vets gave him. some vets still call in the travel echo man, which i'm not hot on
Amanda H. replied:
Lawndale is Dr Lessers main practice; he is in the woodland hills location once a week.
Janet T. replied:
We used the Lawndale place, too, for Levi: http://www.advancedveterinarycarecenter.com/

I have a couple recommendations in the pasadena/eagle rock area, if that helps? (sounds like you're on the west side, but maybe not). Dr. Lisa at the Animal Health Care Center in Eagle Rock is great (http://www.ahccla.com/) We've also seen (and been happy with) Dr. Dawson at Vanderhoof (http://www.vanderhoofvet.com/)

LA Rabbits maintains a [pretty good list](https://larabbits.org/rabbit-care/#veterinarians) of decent rabbit vets the area. From my own experience: There is one good rabbit vet at VCA WLA, but I can't remember his name. Access LA has a very good specialist (her name starts with a P but I can't remember the spelling!), but they are a hospital/specialists for unusual problems rather than general health, which might be appropriate for your rabbit. If you want to drive down that far, Long Beach animal hospital has three excellent rabbit vets that I've been extremely happy with, and they do both general health and emergency/specialty.
Veterinarian recommendations? I live around Culver City, but am happy to make a small commute to have my little guy in good hands. I'm looking for a general practitioner...

I love my vet. I've been going to the same animal hospital for years because they saved my dog from distemper and helped her live a long and happy life. They also do holistic medicine and don't do procedures unless they feel they're truly necessary. **Centinela Animal Hospital**, Drs. Orme or Palmquist. Check 'em out.

[advanced critical care](http://www.accla.net/) was the best i found. but theyre very expensive. i went there for emergency, it was great for that.

While we were living in LA for a six month period, we took our cat to Laurel Pet Hospital in West Hollywood for a suspected UTI (with our regular vet not being in LA). For the next day appointment, tests and antibiotic it was $250, so not cheap, but they were pleasant and great with our cat.

Steer clear of Avalon Animal Hospital/Cat Specialist in Carson. Some of the workers lack any morality toward animals.

Most vets offer care credit.
TNinLosAngeles replied:
On top of the care credit, many vets like dentists (and this is from past experience) will usually be willing to work out a payment plan as long as you pay a good amount.
Surfnturf420 replied:
Sometimes you just got to let them go.
